ADMIT
that you are in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:23 says "For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
We all are sinners in the sight of a holy God.
Secondly you must...
BELIEVE
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins.
Romans 5:8 says "But Christ demonstrated His love sinners, for us in that while we were still Christ died for us."
And lastly you must...
CONFESS
that you want Jesus Christ to be your Lord, turn away from your sin and give your life to Him.
Romans 10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved."
What must I do to have eternal life?
If you would like to have eternal life and know that you will go to heaven to be with Jesus when you die THEN...
PRAY A PRAYER LIKE THIS ONE... (not just repeating the prayer but truely meaning it)
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know I am a sinner, I realize that my sin separates me from You. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. I turn away from my sin and ask You right now to forgive me of all my sins. Come into my heart Lord Jesus. I give my life to You! Thank You that You love me and want a relationship with me for ALL eternity. I will live for You the rest of my life! Amen.
